Information we collect

• Identity and contact details you give us when you register: first and last name, email, mobile phone, address, city, state and ZIP code.
• Account credentials: your password is never stored; we keep only a salted one-way hash of it.
• Verification codes sent by email and SMS (stored only as a keyed hash, and valid for a few minutes).
• Learning data: the courses you enroll in, lessons started or completed, videos marked as watched, and completion dates.
• Payment records: course, amount, date, status and the transaction ID from the payment provider. We never receive or store card numbers, security codes or expiration dates.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Security and technical data: IP address, browser (user agent) and the time of sign-ins and account changes, kept in security logs.
• Essential cookies for your session and language choice (see the Cookie Notice).

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and confirm that your email and phone belong to you.
• To provide the courses you enroll in and show your progress.
• To process payments and keep payment history.
• To answer your questions and send service messages (verification codes, password resets, account notices).
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud and investigate security incidents.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the platform, and only what they need: web hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery and, when enabled, the payment processor. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep account and learning data while your account is open. Payment records and related accounting information are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Security logs are kept for a limited period. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information, except what we must retain by law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. Contact us to ask about them.

• Access and export: you can download a copy of your data from your profile page after signing in.
• Correction: you can update most of your profile information from your profile page.
• Deletion: you can request account deletion from your profile page; if you cannot sign in, use the contact page.
• Language: you can switch between English and Spanish at any time.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), salted password hashing, email and phone verification, limits on repeated sign-in attempts, protection against common web attacks, restricted administrator access and audit logs of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

This platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.
