This Cookie Policy explains how Latino Bookkeepers Financial Advisor ("we," "us," or "our") uses essential cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website lbookkeeper.com and online platform.

2. Essential Cookies Only

Our platform uses strictly necessary technical and session cookies that are required for the website to function properly, to maintain your authenticated student or administrator session, to secure forms against forgery, and to remember your language preference (English or Spanish). We do not utilize advertising, tracking, or commercial analytics cookies.

• lbfa_student: Maintains your active student session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Session cookie (automatically deleted when closing the browser or signing out, and expires upon inactivity).
• lbfa_lang: Remembers your preferred interface language choice (English or Spanish). Persistent cookie lasting up to one year.
• lbfa_admin: Used exclusively by authorized personnel to manage the administrative backend area. Session cookie.

4. Why No Consent Banner Is Required

Under applicable privacy and cookie regulations, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from prior opt-in consent requirements because they are essential to deliver the core services requested by the user. If we introduce optional analytical or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this notice and request your explicit prior consent.

5. Third-Party Content and Embedded Media

Some course lessons may embed instructional videos or content from third-party providers such as YouTube or Vimeo. When you play embedded media, those third-party providers may set their own cookies or tracking elements. We implement privacy-enhanced embed modes whenever supported by the provider to minimize tracking.

6. Managing Cookies

You can configure your web browser settings to block or delete cookies at any time; however, please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in, maintaining a session, or using core platform features.
